Kat Griffin has helped Southland radio listeners toast in the weekend with her long–running Friday night eclectic jazz program Madly Cocktail.
Her new show on KCSN FM is Americana Matinee, every Saturday afternoon from 2 – 5pm, where her playlist is a diverse mix from Neil Young, Bob Dylan and James Intveld to Sarah Borges and Lead Belly. For the very best in Americana and Triple A this is the show you've been waiting for. Kat also features an events calendar to keep you informed about the happenings in town.
Kat Griffin has been around public radio since 1989, including KJAZZ & KCRW and here at KCSN for over 10 years. She believes public radio is a vital tool for learning in university life and is proud to be a part of CSUN’s commitment to keep KCSN a public service to the community.
Ms. Griffin is the 2008 KCSN/CSUN Volunteer Service Award Winner. Congratulations Kat!!
