A Benefit for MEND Poverty Organization and Hathaway-Sycamores Child & Family Services

Everyone here at KCSN is feeling the spirit of the holidays.  Once again we’re celebrating by helping others.   We hope you're feeling the spirit of the season too and will help us with our annual Toy Drive?   Several KCSN on-air personalities and friends of the station will be handing out station swag to everyone who brings an unwrapped gift:

Saturday, December 14th
1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
94th Aero Squadron in Van Nuys

If you're unable to  attend, Santa's Helper will accept your gift in the parking lot!!

This year's toy drive benefits two amazing LOCAL non-profits organizations.  These agencies serve LOCAL children and families in need and in crises all year long.

Please see what's needed most (below):

MEND  - stands for Meet Each Need with Dignity.  Born as a volunteer powered organization four decades ago in a garage, today MEND is the largest non-profit organization for low-income families in the Northeast San Fernando Valley. MEND takes a holistic approach to relieve the effects of poverty by providing basic human needs, while giving clients tools and opportunities that foster self-reliance. MEND provides basic needs for as many as 49,500 impoverished individuals each month.

HATHAWAY-SYCAMORES CHILD & FAMILY SERVICES - With fourteen programs Hathaway-Sycamores provides services and hope for children in vulnerable situations and guidance for families struggling through tough times. Hathaway-Sycamores helps people change their lives for the better on a daily basis.
