Saturday afternoons from 2–5 p.m. (PT)

Kat Griffin has helped Southland radio listeners toast in the weekend with her long–running Friday night eclectic jazz program Madly Cocktail. Her new show on KCSN FM is Americana Matinee every Saturday afternoon where her playlist is a diverse mix from Neil Young and Bob Dylan to Lead Belly.

Kat is also focusing on the current music being released and charting on the National Americana Music Association top–40 chart. Each week you will hear new music from such artists as Sarah Borges, Hank 111, Lucinda Williams, The Mickeys, The Refugees, and Guy Davis.

Kat has been around public radio since 1989, including KJAZZ & KCRW. She believes public radio is a vital tool for learning in university life and is proud to be a part of CSUN’s commitment to keep KCSN a public service to the community.
