CLASSICAL MUSIC WITH BERNIE ALAN

Weekday afternoons from 2 to 6pm (PT)
From his long and distinguished career in broadcasting and music, Bernie Alan brings us the greatest music of the last 1,000 years, from Gregorian Chant and Perotinus to Stravinsky and John Adams every weekday afternoon without inane commercial interruption. That’s five hours of total immersion in the love of classical music.
Weekdays at 2pm Bernie opens the doors of The Audition Booth, and an opportunity to listen to the brand new classical releases on the shelves. Then in the 3pm hour it’s Cost–Conscious Classix, our budget show, and the best of recent classical releases under $10 dollars for the discerning buyer.
Bernie Alan started his career at WRTI in New Jersey and worked at WNCN, WPIX, WPAT, WNYC, and other stations in New York as well as in Philadelphia.
