THE DYLAN HOURS WITH LISA FINNIE

Sunday night from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. (PT)

The Dylan Hours on KCSN, hosted by Lisa Finnie, airs every Sunday night from 5–pm, and features the music of American singer-songwriter, author, musician and poet, Bob Dylan. The show blends greatest hits, classic album cuts, and rare and obscure tracks from Dylan’s five illustrious decades of recording along with covers and requests from listeners.

The Dylan Hours is a theme–based show, hosted by Lisa Finnie, a Los Angeles–based singer–songwriter and longtime Bob Dylan fan. Each week Lisa plays Bob Dylan’s sound recordings that she links by various ideas, often selecting themes that relate to happenings in the world of Bob Dylan and general topics in the news, including social and political events, holidays, the weather, etc. In addition to tying the songs together by theme, Lisa also researches and includes background information about each track in her broadcast, including musician and producer credits as well as recording dates and locations.

Thanks to Dylan's huge back catalog and steady stream of contemporary work, Lisa has had the good fortune of expanding, tenfold, her own appreciation and knowledge of Dylan’s material since taking over the weekly programming of The Dylan Hours in 2006. She welcomes listener requests, show theme suggestions and other feedback. Email her at the link below.
