Sundays Live concerts at LACMA . KCSN is so very proud to bring you this venerable concert series, a true southland musical tradition. Each Wednesday at 12 noon (PT) be sure to listen in to the delayed broadcasts of this free Chamber Music Concert Series presented by The Los Angeles County Museum of Art and hosted by Dennis Bade.

MAY 7– Emerging artists from the Young Musicians Foundation will perform Chamber works to be announced.


MAY 14 – The Colburn Chamber Orchestra, Neal Stulberg, conductor and piano will perform Mozart: Piano Concerto No. 12 in A Major, K.414; Grieg: Two Elgiac Suites; Bernard Hermann; Psycho Suite; Gershwin: Lullaby; Michael Daugherty: Strut.


MAY 21 – The Crossroads Orchestra, Alexander Treger, conductor, perform Copland: Appalachian Spring Suite; Haydn: Symphony No. 102 in B-flat Major (Hoboken 1/102).


MAY 28 – Emerging Artists: The Colburn School Honors Chamber Ensembles will perform works to be announced. .

Dennis Bade has served on the staff of the LA Philharmonic since 1993; he currently holds the post of Associate Director of Publications. Before joining the Philharmonic staff, he served as Editorial Director for the American division of the French record label, Harmonia Mundi, where he supervised the preparation of liner notes, vocal texts, translations, and graphics for recordings by such artists as Anonymous 4, conductor Nicholas McGegan, Paul Hillier and Theater of Voices, and pianist Frederic Chiu, among others.

From 1984–1990, Mr. Bade was on the staff of public radio station KUSC, 91.5 FM, where he programmed and hosted morning and afternoon drive–time broadcasts. He has hosted Sundays Live broadcasts since 1989.
